Riverside Recovery Resources (RRR) was founded by a true visionary John P. “Jack” Ketsdever in 1985 in Riverside California and was incorporated July 1, 1986. The organization’s first program was a six bed men’s residential recovery program. Since our humble beginnings we have grown to become the largest non-profit recovery services provider in Riverside County. Today RRR provides alcohol and other drug recovery services to nearly all Western Riverside County communities with a dedicated, certified and well trained staff.
In 1990 RRR became involved in a most needed treatment modality, residential recovery for women with dependent children, and “Our House” was established. The responsibility to provide these services includes providing healthy age appropriate childcare while “Mom” is involved in her daily treatment routine to include positive interaction with her children.
In 1993, RRR merged with the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (NCADD) to form an affiliate of NCADD. RRR currently operates Drinker Driver (DUI) programs in our Riverside and Lake Elsinore facilities.
RRR has recently expanded our evidence based adolescent recovery program signing contracts with several Western Riverside County School Districts to provide on campus services.
RRR has established a Ten Year Strategic Plan under the guidance of our very involved Board of Directors. Riverside Recovery Resources currently serves an average of over one thousand clients each week in our combined three out-patient and two residential locations.
